– Tesla's India policy and business development leader Manuj Khurana has quit.
According to news agency Reuters, weeks after the electric vehicle (EV) company put its India ambitions on hold.
– "Tesla's ambitions to launch in India right now are as good as dead," a source told the publication.
– This comes after Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated a few weeks ago that the business will not produce in any nation where it is not permitted to sell and repair automobiles first.
Musk was replying to a query regarding Tesla's upcoming launch in India.
Khurana was hired in March of last year and was entrusted with developing an entrance strategy for the country's first electric vehicle manufacturer.
According to the story, he was the company's first employee in the nation and pushed the union government for lower import tariffs and production demands.
