Paypal expands its own service in the wake of Apple Pay Later's launch.

PayPal's buy now, pay later (BNPL) service has been expanded with Pay Monthly.

it allows users to pay for goods between $199 and $10,000 over six to 24 months.

In the next weeks, the solution will be offered to US consumers, and merchants will be able to use it at no additional cost.

PayPal wants to take advantage of higher-dollar sales and put its BNPL program in line with what other suppliers have to offer.

This year, the number of BNPL users in the United States is predicted to exceed 79 million, with a payment volume of $75.6 billion.
