The Xperia 1 IV Gaming Edition is a new gaming-focused variant of Sony's Xperia 1 IV smartphone that was just introduced by the company.
The only difference between this phone and the Xperia 1 IV standard model is that this one has 16 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM) and 512 gigabytes of internal storage space (storage).
The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 4K at 120Hz. It also includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, a 5,000mAh battery, and a headphone jack.
A new gaming attachment called Xperia Stream was also revealed by the firm previously for the Xperia 1 IV. It has active cooling and four extra ports in addition to its other features.
Customers who purchase the Xperia 1 IV gaming edition will also receive a free copy of the Xperia Stream add-on as part of the package.
The Xperia 1 IV Gaming Edition has a suggested retail price of 175,000 Japanese yen, which is equivalent to $1,225 USD.
Pre-orders for the phone may currently be placed in Japan through Sony and Docomo; however, official sales will not commence until the next Thursday, September 15th. Pricing and availability information for the phone on a global scale is not yet available.
