1. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon (Gen 9)

The 9th Gen edition of Lenovo's main business model received a number of nice updates. You get fantastic battery life, powerful quad speakers, a new 14-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, and plenty of connections, all in an unbelievably lightweight body, on top of quick performance from 11th Gen Intel CPUs (2.5 pounds).

But it's the iconic ThinkPad attributes that elevate the X1 Carbon to greatness: a rugged design (MIL-STD-810G strength), best-in-class keyboard, and stealthy black/red aesthetics.

Yes, we wish the ThinkPad X1 Carbon had kept the SD card reader, and top configurations may be very pricey, but you'd be hard pushed to find a better overall business laptop.

2. Lenovo Yoga 9i

The Lenovo Yoga 9i, the successor of the superb Yoga C940, refines a tried-and-true model. The Yoga 9i is a suitable successor to one of last year's top 2-in-1 laptops, thanks to subtle design upgrades, excellent battery life (11:15), and upgraded 11th Gen Intel CPUs.

The Yoga 9i sports a luxury, ultra-portable design and a novel hinge that serves as a spinning soundbar speaker, as you'd expect from a Yoga-series laptop. As a 2-in-1, that hinge can swivel 360 degrees to transform the Yoga 9i into a tablet or be placed in tent mode so you can watch movies without having to use a keyboard. The Yoga 9i's 1080p (4K) display is sharp, colorful, and brilliant when it comes to viewing video. The Yoga 9i's added features, which include a webcam cover (no need to buy tape), a slot for the upgraded Active Pen, and a fingerprint sensor, are my favorites. There isn't an infrared camera, however.

3. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4

Lenovo couldn't have come up with a better moniker for the ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4 than “extreme.” This 16-inch laptop was designed to make its competitors sweat with extraordinary internals including a top-of-the-line 11th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU and strong Nvidia 30-series graphics. Please keep an eye on the Dell XPS 15!

Whether you're a creative, architect, or engineer, the ThinkPad X1 Intense Gen 4 is suited for managing extreme tasks. After a long day of production, people may unwind by playing their favorite graphics-intensive games. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4 is one of the best business laptops on the market, with a robust design, sharp 1080p webcam, excellent performance, and graphics.

4. Lenovo ThinkPad X13 (AMD)

For less than $1,000, you can have a Lenovo work laptop. Now is the moment to speak with your IT manager. The ThinkPad X13 with AMD processors offers some of the best features of the ThinkPad family at a far lower price than we're used to.

A small, minimalist chassis with military-grade durability, an excellent keyboard, and a slew of security features, including a fingerprint sensor and an infrared camera, are just a few of the highlights. The ThinkPad X13 boasts excellent performance at this price because to its AMD Ryzen CPUs. The one big drawback is the short battery life, which isn't bad at all at roughly 8 hours.

If you can afford it, the ThinkPad X1 Carbon is still the greatest Lenovo laptop, but the ThinkPad X13 is a great low-cost option.

5. Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable

In a nutshell, the Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable is an improved Surface Pro 7. It includes the same removable design and a kickstand that can spin to a similar 160-degree position. The 12.3-inch display is nearly identical to the Surface's, and the detachable keyboard, like the Pro 7, is great. Its robust chassis also provides military-grade durability.

What makes it superior to the Surface Pro 7 and Surface Pro 7+? Because the ThinkPad X12 Detachable has a longer battery life, lasting more than 11 hours on a single charge, and weighs somewhat less than its magnesium alloy competition. Even better, the X12 Detachable comes with both a keyboard and a pen.
