It would appear that Google is making an effort to place a greater emphasis on cloud gaming given that the company is now developing a new feature that allows users to quickly enjoy the game.
When you search for the name of a game using Google Search, a Play button may appear. Clicking this button will cause the game to start playing instantly, depending on the cloud service that is now available.
This does not just feature games from the Stadia cloud gaming service offered by Google; rather, it also includes titles from the Amazon Luna cloud gaming service, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and GeForce Now offered by Nvidia.
If you don't sign in to an account linked with these cloud gaming services, all you'll see is a signup page, and some games won't even have a play button to begin with. However, if you do sign in, you won't have to worry about that happening.
However, if you use Stadia or Xbox Cloud Gaming, a single click from a Google search result will send you immediately to the game. This eliminates the need to travel to the website of the cloud gaming service, choose the game you want to play, and then click the play button.
It is unclear whether or not Google will implement this functionality in its entirety or when.
Although the corporation has not yet responded to our request for comment, we have reason to think that it is now conducting an initial test of this function in order to see how individuals engage with it.
